The “One Nation Under God” shirt from Living Epistles was recently chosen as the ‘uniform’ by the American Freedom Assembly group for their “Mission Afghanistan” trip. The A.F.A. is headed up by Ranger Gary Horton who has for the last 26 years presented "The Only Solution" in the Person and Work of his Savior Jesus Christ to students in public schools across America - free of charge. Having served in the Army Ranger Corps himself, "Ranger Horton" works by invitation only and his powerful presentation is on the importance of God and Country. Captain Aram Donigan from the Army’s 501st Airborne Rangers, recalling the message he heard as a senior in high school, worked through the Army’s chain of command to get Gary Horton invited to Afghanistan to speak to the troops. When Gary’s group put together their trip they chose Living Epistles “One Nation Under God” design because of it‘s strong patriotic and gospel message.

Marines stationed in Iraq are staying fit and sharing the Gospel with the Lord's Gym line of apparel! The Lord's Gym shirt is great for excercising, but also for sharing Christ's strength with others, even in the intensity of military life in Iraq. We recently received an e-mail from a Marine telling us that "we're wearing them, passing them out, using them as a witnessing tool, and absolutely causing a few heads to turn." The image of Christ is a sure-fire conversation starter, as one serviceman can attest. "The first day I walked in the gym with the tank top on, I signed in and walked to the weight room. Not three steps in toward the bench I wanted to use, a Marine reaches out and grabs my arm. He's got this look on his face and said, "Where'd you get that t-shirt?" No kidding! I hadn't had it on for a full minute and got stopped. Of course, the young corporal was the first to get a t-shirt and a sweat shirt. He told another Marine too. Word spread quickly. You see, all the Marines here on base wear green t-shirts when they go to the gym, the Army wears gray t-shirts, and the Navy wears mostly blue ones. So when you walk into the gym wearing something different, you really stand out. We continue to try to be the face of Christ to our fellow servicemen." Check out the Lord's Gym design, and also our many patriotic designs, to assist you in sharing your faith, whether on the home front or in the service.
